Introduction
This document explains how we gather, handle, and store your personal data when you visit our online ticket store or share personal information with us in any other way. We are Cnsred Entertainment Inc., located at 111–473 Church Street, Toronto, Ontario, M4Y 2C5. As the data controller, we are responsible for your personal data.
Please take the time to read this carefully, as it has implications for your legal rights and obligations. For any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us at info@cnsred.ca.
What Personal Data We Gather
When you purchase a ticket or any related products and services for one of our events, we gather and store personal details such as your name, address, email address, and payment information. In cases where you register another person to attend an event, we may also collect their personal data on your behalf. By providing us with someone else's information, you confirm that you have informed them about this privacy notice and, where required, have obtained their consent for us to handle their data lawfully under this policy.
Any personal data you submit must be truthful, complete, and accurate. Should you provide false or misleading information and we detect or suspect fraudulent activity, this will be documented.
Browsing our online ticket store does not require you to submit any personal data. That said, we may still gather information outlined in the Automatically Collected Data section below, along with marketing-related data as described in the Marketing Communications section.
Any correspondence you send us via email or post may be retained on file, and telephone conversations with us may also be recorded.

Data Collected Automatically
Each time you visit our online ticket store, we — or authorised third parties acting on our behalf — automatically gather and store certain information about your device and online activity. This may include (a) a unique identifier for your device; (b) technical details about your device, such as the browser type or operating system; (c) your personalised settings, including language and time zone preferences; and (d) general data regarding your browsing habits and navigation patterns. We may use your personal data to send you marketing materials — such as newsletters, blog updates, surveys, and announcements about upcoming events — in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and our legitimate business interests.
If you no longer wish to receive these communications, you can opt out by emailing us at info@cnsred.ca or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Please allow up to 10 business days for this change to take effect, in accordance with CASL requirements. Your data will remain in our marketing records until you formally opt out.
Legal Basis for Processing Your Data
Your personal data will be used to fulfill our contractual obligations to you, which includes providing your event tickets and any associated purchases, communicating relevant event information, delivering purchases in line with your requests, and addressing any questions, concerns, or complaints related to your order or the event.
We collect, use, and disclose your personal data in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario privacy legislation. We may also process your data for legitimate business purposes, such as providing customer support, upholding agreements between us, meeting regulatory or legal requirements, conducting audits, and notifying you of updates to this policy.
Who We Share Your Data With
We may share your personal data with third-party service providers, contractors, and agents engaged to carry out functions on our behalf, such as payment processors, ticketing platforms, email service providers, IT support, accountants, auditors, and legal advisors.
In certain situations, we may be legally required to disclose your data — for example, to comply with a court order, applicable Canadian law or regulation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of others.
Your data may also be shared in the context of business transactions such as mergers, asset sales, restructuring, financing arrangements, or full or partial acquisitions of our company.
Where Your Data Is Stored and Processed
Your personal data is primarily stored and processed within Canada. In some cases, it may be transferred to or accessible by service providers located outside of Canada, including in the United States. Where this occurs, we ensure that appropriate contractual safeguards are in place to protect your personal data in a manner consistent with Canadian privacy law. By using our ticket store, you acknowledge and consent to this potential transfer of your information.
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file with a unique identifier that is sent from a website to your computer's hard drive via your browser. It allows the website to recognise your browser on return visits, though it does not reveal your personal identity. Cookies help us remember your preferences and provide a more personalised experience on our ticket store.
Most browsers accept cookies by default. You have the option to adjust your browser settings to alert you when a cookie is received or to block cookies entirely — however, doing so may affect the functionality of our ticket store.
We also use Google Analytics to track how our ticket store is used. This tool collects data anonymously and produces reports on visitor numbers, traffic sources, session duration, and page activity. Google Analytics stores persistent cookies on your device. If you prefer not to have your visits tracked, you can disable persistent cookies through your browser settings.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, unlawful processing, accidental loss, or destruction, in accordance with our obligations under PIPEDA. All data you provide is stored on secure servers, and payment transactions are protected using SSL encryption.
If a password has been assigned to or chosen by you, you are responsible for keeping it confidential.
While we take every reasonable precaution, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot make absolute assurances regarding the security of your data at all times.
Your Rights
Under PIPEDA and applicable Ontario privacy law, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct any inaccuracies, and to withdraw your consent to our use of your data at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. To make any such requests, please contact us at info@cnsred.ca. We will respond to your request within 30 days, as required by Canadian privacy law. We reserve the right to apply an administrative fee for requests that are deemed excessive, in accordance with applicable legislation. If you have a privacy-related complaint that we are unable to resolve to your satisfaction, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca, or the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario at ipc.on.ca. Our ticket store may include links to external websites. Once you navigate away from our site, we have no control over those third-party sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any external site you visit.
How Long We Keep Your Data
If you hold a registered account with us, your personal data will be retained until you close that account. If you are subscribed to our marketing communications, your data will be kept until you choose to unsubscribe. For ticket purchases, associated orders, or general enquiries, your personal data will be retained for up to 6 months following your most recent contact with us, to allow us to address any follow-up queries.
